Senior year is a waterfall of emotions, it is like, on one hand praise Jesus! you are going to graduate, on the other dear Lord give me some guidance because I’m not ready for this “adult-ing” thing.
That said, Elise and I have been straddling the line between college and adulthood for the past few months and the emotional toll of our project (among other things) has been tremendous.
Today we presented our research at the Undergraduate Research symposium and premiered our trailer.
So tonight we are celebrating like Gonzaga making it to the Final Four, you know that feeling (or maybe you don’t) but it’s the feeling when you’ve accomplished great feats but you still have the biggest most important games of your life left to play.
We are making great progress but now is not the time to let up it’s the time to grind even harder. I’m confident that we are going to produce an incredible documentary and that after we premiere it and present it (again) we will be like UNC, victorious and poppin’ champagne (or the bottle of Black Label Whiskey we got from the wedding we crashed).
One down, two to go. Wish us luck!
(Thank you Rhiannon Berg for taking pictures of us at the Undergraduate Research Symposium and for allowing us to post them here.)
