The last three days have felt like an episode of Boy Meets World. Joanne left us and it was like watching Mr. Feeney hug Corey and leave his classroom for the last time during the final episode, except I was Corey and we weren’t in a classroom we were standing on the side of the freeway in heavy rain waiting for Joanne’s Uber driver to cross 12 lanes of traffic. She taught us so much in her 10 days here, but more importantly I think we laughed harder in those 10 days than we have any other time in our lives.
Joanne left us with a clear cut plan and minds full of inspiration for our remaining 10 days. We can’t lose.
Today, we stepped forward without Joanne and finished filming our interviews.
We then took the remainder of the day to run errands, organize footage, and watch The Prisoner of Azkaban (because what else does one do when it rains). We also made you this beautiful video blog, feel free to waste three minutes of your work day laughing at our awkwardness.
With clear eyes and full hearts,
Cara and Elise
